At Acts 11:15-17) 15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell on them, even as on us at the beginning. (American Standard)?
Here Peter says that Holy Spirit fell on them at it did on us at the beginning. Peter is referring to Pentecost when Holy Spirit in the form of fire appeared on the heads of 120 disciples! If the Holy Spirit is a person how is it he fall on people and on so many, 120 at Pentecost, then 3000 a little later and then on Cornelius’s whole family
16 And I remembered the word of the Lord, how he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Here baptism with water is likened to being baptized in Holy Spirit, again if a person how is this possible?
17 If then God gave unto them the like gift as he did also unto us, when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I, that I could withstand God? Being baptized in Holy Spirit is likened to being given a gift and we see in the book of Acts 120, 3000, 5000, and an entire family have all been given the gift of the Holy Spirit. We also see that the laying on of hands is what enables Christ disciples to perform miracles!

How can God’s Holy Spirit be likened to a person when we see clearly it gives power to people and it’s a free gift? .....My answer ...https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/s/r1/lp-e?q=overshadow how is it there is a shadow over them what cast the shadow ? why call it a shadow, if indeed it is a he it makes sense, but he is el shadai, the shadow on the back of my hand, someone invisible can cause a shadow...just my thoughts...https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/d/r1/lp-e/1200003926 The shadow, or dark image, that an object casts on a surface is not substantial, not the real thing. Yet it can give an idea of the general shape or design of the reality that casts it. In this connection Paul explained that the Law, including its festivals, tabernacle, and sacrifices, had a shadow that represented greater things to come. He wrote: “The reality belongs to the Christ.”—Col 2:16, 17; Heb 8:5; 9:23-28; 10:1.
